At Sunny Shores Academy, we provide tutoring services for children starting at age 4.
Our primary focus is on academics, covering subjects such as Math, Science, English, enrichment and English as a second language. We also offer piano lessons.
We understand that each child has a unique learning profile. We take the time to understand your child's strengths, areas of challenge, interests, and learning pace. A Discovery Meeting is important to learn more about your child's learning needs.
Tutoring sessions can be scheduled based on your child's needs and availability. We recommend at least one to two sessions per week for optimal learning outcomes.
Our learning sessions take place at 1333 South Ocean Blvd. Pompano Beach Florida. At our location we are able to take advantage of the views of the intracoastal and experience our private beach and pool setting to engage students in our peaceful surroundings.
During the Discovery Meeting, we discuss what specific goals and expectations you may have for your child. We assess these skills regularly to monitor progression and if requested, we provide a feedback email after each learning session. Open communication is crucial to your child’s learning journey, so we are always available to discuss your child's development.

We prioritize the safety of our students. Our outdoor areas are secured, and we ensure that all activities are conducted under close supervision. We ask that parents of young children remain on the premises for the first couple of learning sessions as they gain a level of comfort in their child’s new learning environment.
Yes, our first session is called a Discovery Meeting. This is an opportunity for students and parents/guardians to meet their teacher, tour our location, review any prior learning assessments, report cards and individualized education plans, discuss expectations and goals and a plan for success according to your child’s interests, learning preferences and abilities.
Our fees vary depending on the services selected and your family's circumstances. Please reach out to us for detailed information regarding costs.
Though in person is ideal and often more beneficial, we currently offer online lessons for academics and piano.
